Yea, heard about it, and saw it. The card looks nice. But I think this is bad time for cards like X1950XTX and 7950GX2, since DX10 cards are coming out quite soon.

maybe, but rumor has it Vista might not be out for well into 2007. So if the home version of Vista comes later in the year it might be worth it.

Yea, and when it comes out, it probably won't be worth buying it right away.

yeah, but is any nvidia and/or ATI card worth buying right away? If anything consumers today win... The X1950 XTX will more than likely cost what an X1900 XTX costs today from online retailers. So for a consumer wanting to get a new graphics card and is on a say $450 budget he/she will get more bang for their buck. If you ask me it's the consumers looking to upgrade before the back to school season or wanting top end graphics in 2H 2006/1H 2007 that are going to win. While DirectX 10 is coming how many game titles are ready to launch when Vista comes out?

It's hard to tell the readers of LR to hold off on buying a video card when Vista could be a year out (May-July 07) and DirectX 10 games are surley going to come after that.

the card isnt worth it. GDDR4 + that 650MHz clock and 2GHz RAm only give like ~7% increase.

I'd wait for DX10 or get a 7950.
