The guy explains how they did it, then gives a super brief, but proof of working, hacked wii demo.

it took place on the 24c3. It's a big german hacker meeting (organized by the CCC)

So. if it can be hacked for Linux, will it run Folding@Home. :-k :mrgreen:

Nope note enough horsepower under the hood, sadly only PS3 Does

yeah my menus right out of the box on my PS3 as an option for folding @home. no need to do anything special to get it to fold.

be nice to get a third party FREE web browser! cant believe the charge for it now :p

Also would be REALLY neat to be able to run linux using the controller - call me a geek, but it just seeems it would be super cool to just motion move around the screen with no mouse or keyboard :)

f@h will never work since the wii is so under-powered it isnt funny ;) Maybe they should hack it to slap in a nice quad core chip and better video :mrgreen: It is still fun to play though.
