In the past, I have used Kingston RAM and been very pleased with what I purchased, but it has been a bit since my last purchase.
I am doing a computer build and have the Intel D975XBX2 Motherboard and am looking to purchase 2 Gigs of RAM.
According to this LINK , there are several options. I need some guidance as to which to purchase. I know to not get the ECC version, and I will get 2 x 1 gb, but beyond that, I could use some education.
So, which would you suggest? Or do you suggest an alternative?
Thanks!

I’m using 2GB Corsair XMS2 PC6400. Price was right (also got rebate). Settings were 5-5-5-15 and I currently have it set at 4-4-4-12 @1.92v no problems.

I did a search on Newegg for the ones you suggested and came up with these choices: LINK
Can you indicate which set you purchased?
Thanks in advance!

Newegg lists it as 5-5-5-12 but Corsair shows it as 5-5-5-15. All I know is it runs fine at 4-4-4-12 @ 1.92v on my XBX2.

No problem. I see the rebates are still in effect and the price has come down as well. Guess it pays to wait!

Hey if you thinking about going to Vista 64 Bit I would look at the 4-Gig kits for $230.00 after Rebate
