Corsair DHX TWIN3X2048-1800C7D Memory Kit - First Experience
Been playing around with the above kit of memory from Corsair... So far so good.
The IC's on these modules are Micron D9GTR, which are proving to be great overclockers.
STOCK SETTINGS:
Overclocked to 1880MHz at 7-7-7-20 2T w/ 2.0V:
Overclocked to 1920MHz at 8-8-8-21 2T w/ 2.0V:
Just been overclocking it for a couple hours and have reached 1880MHz, which is an 80MHz boost over the stock 1800MHz. The timings are 7-7-7-20 2T at 2.0V and it needs the voltage as if you drop it to 1.9V the system won't boot. The Command Rate also can't be lowered to 1T at 1800MHz with CL7 timings... more to come later after I get a chance to play around with it some more. I am happy to see my Intel E6750 hitting these high FSB clock frequencies.

Producing a system from a specification is like walking on water; it's easier if it's frozen.

Well it seems that 1880MHz at 7-7-7-20 2T is the top overclock I can get at 2.0V... I cranked up the voltage to 2.25V (The highest available on the ASUS P5K3 motherboard) and started going higher...
Here is 1900MHz at 7-7-7-20 2T
1908MHz
The highest I can run benchmarks at is 1920MHz at 7-7-7-20 2T with 2.25V, but it crashes often and I can't even run Super Pi or Sandra at these speeds. I was able to pull off a Sandra run though.

Thats awesome, when you hit the top I would try Cas 7-8-7-24 2T and see if youcan get some more out of them. But thats just me.

Does it do tighter timings at stock or lower speed?

I've been playing around with 7-6-6 memory timings with 1T enabled and the results are impressive.... The memory voltage was left at 2.25V during testing...
Here is 'stock' 1800MHz with 7-6-6-17 1T timings:
Here is 1900MHz with 7-6-6-20 1T timings:
I can't fully break 10,000MB/Sec on Sandra, but this is close... 1916MHz at 7-6-6-18 1T

When I glanced over the first screen, I was like "900Mhz, that's not that much of an overclock". Then I realised my mistake
Very impressive.
