Re: G-Skill 4000 HZ Dual channel
They can do 800MHz 4-4-4 timings at ~2.0v or 3-3-3 timings with < 2.3v. They can clock to about 1000MHz with 4-4-4 & 2.2v. I haven't tested with Cas 5 yet but I'm working on it. ;)

DDR500 overclocked to DDR800? Really? I never seen that before.

Yea really can you post some CPU-Z screen shots?

OOPPS....I thought he had PC6400.....I should have read the titlewerty316 wrote:DDR500 overclocked to DDR800? Really? I never seen that before.
That DDR1 kit can do ~540MHz with 3-4-4-8 & ~2.6v
They use UCCC IC's which don't respond well to voltages over 2.7v

Too bad as DDR400 overclocked to DDR800 would be quit impressive.

I RMA'd a gig of Corsair PC4000 a little while back and they offered me 2 gigs of PC3200-PRO as a replacement. Of course I accepted their offer

Re: G-Skill 4000 HZ Dual channel
Yea most of the IC makers if not all that count have moved production to DDR2 so the choice for good DDR1 is slim to non existant.
But getting a upgrade to two gig is a real pluss.
