performance question
Assuming the speed and make are the same which configuration is better 4 x 1 GB or 2 x 2GB. I know that 2x2 can be added to where 4x1 may not since most boards have only 4 slots but is there a performance difference?

Re: performance question
What op system are you using? If it is windows 32bit I would just go for 2 one gig sticks.

Re: performance question
2x 2gb, much more stable because there is much less stress on the memory controller

I would go with 2x2Gb.
