i currently have 2x 1 gb ocz platinum rev2 ddr2 6400 (800mhz)

is it possible to run that with another ocz ram that is not the same model?

Yes it is possible.

If both memory sets are not the same specifications, i.e. different voltage or different timings, then you will have to run both sets/sticks at the highest timings/voltage of the two to ensure they all work properly.

You can however choose to overclock the slowest RAM to match the fastest RAM, but you will need to do stability tests to make sure it will work ok at the faster timings after you do that.
