I7 labeled memory
Hi am about to build a budget system for a family member am just wondering does matter if it says core I7/ core i5 memory for it to work on a AM3 system?

It just means the ram is rated for 1.65v or below as anything above this when using an Intel CPU can damage the memory controller.
It will work fine with an AMD setup
