Solid State vs Disc

Are there ANY disadvantages to SSDs versus the traditional Hard Drives besides cost?

If an SSD craps out, the likelihood of recovering the data is nil. On an HDD, it's usually feasible but very expensive. Keep backups and it's a non issue. Otherwise, cost is the only negative in comparison.
