Is it just me or is ram prices going up...?

And I heard someone saying 2gb ram is the most xp supports? I have xp pro x64 edition, what is the max this can really use?

Geforce 6600 (for now, will up to 7900 gtx)

DDR2 800 is already up. I doubt it will go up much more... its reached an already high peak *cough rip-off* Does it cost them more to make it all of a sudden? :roll:

And as far as I've heard, 2Gb is the max supported until Vista.

You can run 4GB on windows XP... it just shows it as less and doesn't use it all correctly.

Oh ok. Thats still a bummer though :( I'm going to stick with 2 myself until games start 'needing' 4.

ALL 32bit cpus can only see 4GB of ram and only use 3GB.....

When we switch to 64bit, the cpu will be able to see 17,179,869,184GB :shock: (this also requires OS support)
