In recent years, notebook computer use is becoming more common as price levels approach those of desktop computers. Thanks to mature production technology, notebook computers are virtually on par with desktop computers when it comes to speed, functions, and performance. With the heavy promotion of Intel's Centrino integrated mobile computing technology with built-in wireless LAN capability, notebook computers have gradually become an indispensable tool for many people in their private lives or at work. Many industry analysts forecast that the global notebook computer market will post double-digit growth rates in the coming five years. Various kinds of notebooks enjoy wide popularity among many SOHO and working people for their convenient portability, strong functions, and large increase in computational capacity.

In light of this growing popularity, Apple Computer released the PowerBook G4. This new revolutionary ultra-fast notebook contains the powerful Velocity Engine embedded in the PowerPC G4 processor, which expands processor capacity for ideal mobile communication capabilities and computational performance. The PowerBook G4 also supports high-capacity DDR333(PC-2700) memories of up to 2GB. Following the release of Kingmax's highly-praised 1GB DDR266 (PC-2100) SO-DIMM, Kingmax continues its product line with the new ultra high-capacity 1GB DDR333 (PC-2700) SO-DIMM, which was designed with Kingmax's proprietary TinyBGA stacked technology using 32 64M*4 DRAM chips. Its transmission speed and overall functions provide you with unprecedented, ultra-fast overall speed for your computer. This is undoubtedly the best choice for upgrading the memory capacity of the Apple PowerBook G4.

After years of steady maturing of Kingmax Semiconductor's TinyBGA stacked technology, we are now pushing memory module capacity to new limits with the release of the 1GB DDR333(PC-2700) SO-DIMM memory exclusively for notebook computers. Compared to memories stacked with standard technology, Kingmax memories stand out for their stable electric signal, function, and quality. Thus Kingmax memories are particularly suited for advanced notebook computers with high demands and high stability requirements and greatly increase the entire system's efficiency. All Kingmax products undergo advanced and strict comprehensive testing to guarantee consistent quality. Kingmax's vertically integrated technology and production process shortens the time needed to bring a product to mass production and to maintain a stable supply for the global market. Furthermore, Kingmax offers a lifelong quality guarantee on all of its memory module products. It has been our unrelenting mission to provide consumers with the best memory module solutions and to safeguard user interests.

Ok... seeing "SO-DIMM" is a little foreign to me...

Is this stuff for any "new" notebooks? or just for Apple notebooks?

And does anything besides notebooks use a 200-pin DIMM?

That's interesting to know... That's cool you have DDR400 SO-DIMMS... so is Kingmax just behind the times, and they are finally just now releasing DDR333 SO-DIMMS?
