Memtest Crash

Anyone know of any reasons Memtest86+ would crash? I mean properly crash, and not error. It freezes while testing, but still has the little "+" blinking in the top corner. Mostly freezes around 7 mins, but went over an hour once.

I checked memtest website and it said that legacy USB support could cause it to crash, but I can't find that option.

My RAM is overclocked to ~834 from 800 so a mild OC. Its Crucial Ballistix @ 4-4-4-12.

I tried taking up the voltage an extra .05v but it still errored, the CPU is 20Hours Orthos stable, but for good measure I upped its and the MCH voltage up a notch. Still crashed.

Is this just the memory not liking the OC? So far I haven't been able to see any negative impact of this, except my AV is not running right now, hmm, I'll have to check that one out...

Memtest has frozen for me before, it was always a bad OC.
What voltage are you using on the RAM? Try 2.2v and increase the misc timings a little (Trc to 15, TRFC to ~35)

USB emulation is usually in the "boot" section of the BIOS.

Seem to have it narrowed down to the MCH voltage. i took the RAM back to 410Mhz (aka 820) and bumped up the MCH voltage to 1.6v (from 1.53v) and upped the CPU a notch.

Pretty sure its not the CPU voltage as it was stable for Orthos for 20 hours at a higher voltage. And the NB being the weak point makes sense because it was always failing on test 5, where it moves blocks of data around.

Will see where I can get the volts down to with it still being stable.
