Which one is the better motherboard?! Asus or Gigabyte?! I'm currently not able to decide which one to buy...

Uh, they're both pretty good brands. Currently favor Gigabyte as Asus tends to be a bit pricey for my wallet. Are you eyeing any particular motherboard models, by any chance?

Gigabyte has some really nice entry level boards, although for mid-high end boards ASUS does a great job.

Depends on which model you're comparing.

I've had a bad experience with ASUS though. The M2N-E motherboard which I'm currently using has ridiculously low vdimm. Plus, the vcore readings are ridiculous. My friend had a better experience with his P5N-E.

Post a budget and people might be able to better answer your question.

Skulltrail's King of the Hill at the moment but that doesn't really mean that Intel's the best choice for mobo...

Both are good companies...both have their ups and downs...bottom line: Personal preference.

I own at least one of each and I just happen to prefer Gigabyte. Having said that, its worth mentioning that the Gigabyte board is on my Intel system and the Asus board is on my AMD system.

One big reason for me is Asus customer service is more like a debate class...not fun. Although, I have yet to use Gigabyte CS...another PLUS! 8)
