AMD & ATI 2010 Is It The Year?

Post by wazup52i.t »

2009 saw what i think to be a comeback into the market for AMD with more and more desktops and laptops even net-books using there cpus. And finally one of the big legal battles between intel and AMD, won by AMD :) . Also the rumors of 2010 being the year of the very first fusion GPU/CPU from AMD. I would like to know what other AMD users and enthusiasts opinions are about 2010 and will AMD finally better intel in the fast growing market of information technology.

Well I don't see them becoming "better" in the sense of pure, raw power but we can all agree that price/performance is still very much in AMD/ATI's favor. I think people often overlook how friendly AMD is to business users, not just the enthusiast community. They cost less than Intel, they introduce their server-side components at or before they release the same power to the average consumer. I think AMD just makes sense for most people, and I definitely do hope that 2010 brings AMD some type of major performance advantages over Intel!
