MSI NF980 - G65 & Analog KVM

Post by jedihobbit »

Here is a question for those that are “intimately” familiar with MSI motherboards.

DC AM3 and Oz1a share kb, mouse, and monitor through a Linksys analog KVM. With exception of the two Abit NViews I had there haven’t been any issues ‘til now. When I initially hooked up the MSI 785GM-E65, there weren’t any problems. Had to use a PS2 to USB adaptor (KB) as there is only one PS2 socket (mouse). Now however I’ve had to hook directly from peripheral to computer. When in the bios and using the kb to key down the lists it’ll just start scrolling at high speed and it almost takes an act of God & Congress to get it to stop.

Suggestions???? In its finally layout I want to share the monitor, kb, and mouse I’m using with my “primary” computer which will be an MSI when all said and done.
