AM3 Motherboard upgrade question ???

I have an Acer Aspire M 1202 Micro ATX computer with AMD single core CPU running DDR2. Will any micro ATX Motherboard fit this computer? Can I upgrade to an AM3 Motherboard and CPU ?

the 990 Chipset is only compatible with AM3/AM3+ CPU's, your set up is either a AM2/AM2+
