Middle of road Mobo recommendations for a AMD 3800+ X2?

Post by NCSUJoe »

I'm building a middle of the road system for work with an AMD 3800+ X2 AM2 chip. Anyone have some suggestions for the best MOBO Around $80 and have suggestions about corresponding compatible RAM manufactures.

Thanks,
John

That is a decent board. I have not look at the DFI's yet. Another choice I have though about is the MSI K9N4 SLI-F. How do you think these two boards match up. I like the cheaper price on the MSI. I'm not sure if the difference between DDR2 800 and 533 matters that much. I have no idea about the oc ability of the MSI.

Thanks for the response. I think my eyes are bigger than my budget. Which makes buying anything difficult.
