Bad Axe II Raid-0 Problem

Post by sulpherdragon »

Hi, I have 2 HItachi 500Gb Drives I want to install as a nice 1TB raid.
Ive being having problems. I can set it up, install windows. But upon the loading screen of windows it bluescreens with a very unhelpfull notice (seems to be a little random too)

Im just wondering is there something im doing wrong? My marvell raid drivers wont install, i keep getting an error "cannot copy file" when i try to install 3rd party raid drivers during the windows xp install. It does however say those drivers are in there already. Is my crashes similar to what would happen if you didnt install raid drivers?

This whole thing is frustrating me. Ive tried several different combinations for the raid slots and such, one is an odd colour and i havent figured out what its for yet. Ive tried many different windows disks and floppies (with the raid drivers) and still the same problem.
