Not all high-speed transfer implementations yield the same throughput or experience. ASUS' added hardware ensures you make the most from today's transfer technology withouth bios modifications.
Because ASUS uses a bridge chip technology, our SATA 6gb/s transfer speeds will not be hindered when you are in SLI or CROSSFIRE. Compared to other motherboards to claim SATA 6gb/s and USB 3.0, you can see from our tests that not all boards are created equal.

Will it still work if you have 2 GFX cards and something in the PCI 1x?

i am waiting for the true usb 3.0 and sata 3.0 chipset. Current implementation are all based on additonal chip which sometimes can have slightly lower performance. Also, currently there's no major need for either technolgoy.

Meh, lets see them take their x58 board head-to-head with the Gigabytes boards.
