Some my words after live look products with Military Class II.
On the 2. of June at the international exhibition COMPUTEX the company MSI has introduced a qualitative implementation of technology MSI, intended for improving of the reliability of motherboards and graphics cards. Though previously some components of high reliability were used one by one in various products - as e.g. solid capacitors, but MSI has decided to merge three key features into a single initiative called the Military Class.
Today I am pleased to tell you about the second «revision» of the Military Class, which has absorbed the best of its fine-proven predecessor and certainly brought something new. Welcome - Military Class II!
The components of the Military Class alias are presented in three key components:
Hi-c CAP (Highly-conductive polymerized Capacitor)
Essential satellites of overclockers remained in the second version of the components of Military Class: the use of Hi-c CAP as an exceptional solution with tantalum core allowed at one stroke to improve dramatically a number of important characteristics:
- Tantalum Core
- Tantalum Core (Rare, highly stable material)
- 8x longer lifetime than traditional Solid CAP
- Higher Thermal Stability
- No mechanical issue
- Ultra low ESR
SFC (Super Ferrite Choke)
- Super-Permeability Ferrite Core
It is worth mentioning that this choke is far more progressive than traditional solutions, in particular it has:
• 30% Higher Current Capacity
• 10% Power Efficiency Improvement
And of course it provides better Overclocking Power Stability.
Solid Cap (provides a lifespan of up to 10 years)
Unlike normal capacitors, solid state capacitors use high polymer Aluminum, which increases heat-resistance. It has these properties:
- Aluminum Core
- No explosion
- Extreme low ESR
- Lower temperature
As a conclusion we can say one thing: Military Class II has raised even higher quality standards, unattainable before, of the element base of motherboards, and surely simplified life for us - end users.

Re: MSI Military Class II - first look
What mother board is that, the 1155 series being it doesnt look amd, and it says dual channel memory..
blast, where are the new 1366 or better boards at

Re: MSI Military Class II - first look
on the socket it says 115x so it's 1155 more than likely just based on the fact it is a new release
