Does SATA HDD works on SATAII connector motherboard?

Post by battlefield »

I'm deciding to buy new motherboard that would support intel i7, but all new motherboards are SATAII so does SATAI HDD works on SATAII connector motherboard because I'd like to keep all my files including windows files. The old disc product nr. is WD5000AAKS.

SATA II will work fine, it's backwards compatible.
