MSI X58A-GD65 motherboard, I liked the R2E board but it just was not allowing much as far as BCLK overclocking like I wanted on my 970 CPU. No matter what I tried I could not go above 175BCLK. So I decided to switch things out today to the MSI bard and I plum forgot to enter BIOS to make any adjustments ( it was set up for my 930 CPU) next thing I knew Windows was reconfiguring itself for a new motherboard. After it completed I rebooted entered BIOS and the board is sitting @ 200 x 20 and not even breaking a sweat. @ 4.2 Ghz on the Asus board 175x24 gave me 10287 overall. on the MSI 20 x 200 @ 4Ghz I got 10404 (Here), for being 200 mhz slower netted me a lot better score.

Weird. I was sittin pretty at 200 on the BCLK on my R2E when I ran it. I couldn't go much higher than 18 on the multi tho but that was the 920's fault

On the 920 C0/930 D0 i could go as high as 220 easily with a 20 multi, the 970 was a bit different story. I more then likely will try it once again and see if I might have had a setting off, but right now I am happy with the MSI.
