Intel core2Duo processor Trouble

i am using intel 945GCNL motherboard and cpu is Intel core2Duo processor [email protected]. Past One week i had faced some problems on my pc, system performance is very slow. So i formatted on my pc still now same problem are continued. i have checked for my pcs number of processor on msconfig command =>Boot.ini=>Advanced Options=>/NUMPROC =1 . i have seen only one processor. Actually two processor are display in that cpu types.Why this trouble created on my cpu. if any one idea for solve this issue.
