I got a few calls from mobo makers asking about their boards last night and knew something was up, but then the flood of calls and "leaks" came today. It turns out "something" is wrong with the southbridge (IC6HR) and that the industry is waiting on the word from Intel on what to do.
We have expierenced mild cold and warm booting issues on all brands of boards using the ICH6R chipset and we were told this is the reason behind it.
We will post up Intel's official response once we get it and can talk more freely then. ;)
