Having the exact same parts doesn't mean you can get the same overlock.

Very true, but hopefully we can get him headed in the right direction. I hadn't had much luck with OC'iing until I came upon this forum. With a little helpful advice from this forum, I've been running the set up in my sig for about 3 years with no problems.

thanks for the reply....y I have 2 x 1GB kingston sticks ddr2 6700 and 2 x 2GB kingstons also ddr2 6700 sticks in the system now [both are hyper x model]...it seems the 2 x 1GB sticks show up as 667 in bios and the 2 x 2GB show up as 800 in bios by default. I tried to adjust in bios but it would not let me. Not sure if I have bad ram?

My goal is to get all the ram to 4-4-4-12 [according to the newegg site they are made for this]. Also wanted to get at least 3.0Ghz out of the cpu.

Currently my windows rating is 5.9 and I want to push it to 6 on ram and cpu- sure I can do this with oc ram and cpu.

Your help is greatly appreciated!
