D845GVSR MB and Bios info

I recently had the fun job of updating the bios on a Intel MB (D845gvsr). The bios was original to shipping date 5-7 yrs ago.
I upgraded to vP19 then noticed that my USB tree was missing from Device Manager. It not only scared the crap out of me it really ticked me off. I found vP20 and put that on thinking it would fix it. No luck. Reviewing the BIOS at startup only showed USB CONFIGURATION and nothing else. I searched the internet for hours only to locate this doc - http://www.intel.com/cd/channel/reselle ... 203939.htm. It says - USB Configuration menu on D845GVSR is blank after updating to BIOS version P18. Nice eh?!!!!!.
WTF..so why didn't they fix the problem in P19 or even P20. Bottom line is I pulled back and put P17 bios on and all is good.
I hope this helps anyone that experienced what I did.
