I f I try a possibly blown CPU on a new MOBO will it blow the MOBO? I think it may already have blown the BIOS chip on my old board.

it is possible to fry a good board with a bad CPU. Not too likely though. Hopefully it's just the BIOS chip and you can order a new one.

Bad CPU=Bad MOBO?
