as the title says got an issue with my cpu overclock. I had 4.4ghz stable @ 1.22v but that same overclock using occt linpack is unstable and crashes between 8mins 30secs and 8mins 40secs. this happens just as cpu drops to 25% and jumps to 100%. the instant it does that error detected and I can't figure out why. upped voltage up to 1.3v and same issue at the same time?

I'm not a huge fan of OCCT as it puts more load on the system that you'd ever encounter in normal daily use as a consumer.

could be due to a 5V fluctuation in your PSU. SSD's usually can't handle much of a voltage drop and cause system issues. If you SSD is having issues that will cause Windows to freeze up obviously.

ok so I have it stable at 4.4ghz @ 1.22v again. it turns out a game I was running the night before that crashed my system was the culprit. I uninstalled the game and my overclock became stable again. installed the game and unstable overclock. shame as I liked that game. even installing this game on my secondary HDD gave the same issues :(
