CES 2008: Trust, The New Logitech For The U.S.?

Trust is a "new" peripheral manufacturer on the block which offers products similar to that of Logitech. I put the word new in quotes because they aren't really new, just new to the states. Where are they from and what do they offer? Find the answers to your burning questions in the article.

The one thing that stood out the most to us at the Trust booth was the Ultra Small bluetooth 2 USB adapter 10m BT-2400p. It was designed for those on the go and it is so small that it only protrudes 7 mm from your notebook.

Isn't brand recognition magic, I didn't recognise who trust were till I saw their logo.

That is cool, though maybe a US coin would be better to show size. I don't know how big a euro 10 cent coin is.

Here's another reason why this company coming to the US is good news...
Rueters wrote:ZURICH, Jan 10 - Shares in Swiss-based computer peripherals maker Logitech International SA gained up to 12 percent on Thursday amid speculation Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) would launch a takeover bid, traders said.

Trust has a very broad range of products but don't get your hopes up too high, here in Europe they have a bad reputation because most of their products are junk.

Got some feedback from the guys over at Directron and they said this product is nothing new...

Other brands have been out for months and Trust just rebadged this one. Very interesting... Others are also saying that Trust just rebrands a bunch of things, which isn't what Logitech does.

I did a Google search and Ciagro has had those BT adapters since 2006.... Two years ago!

I'm very aware that I'm posting this very late, but since I know what kind of brand "Trust" is, I'm posting any way!
Trust is dutch branding company which does not actually produce anything itself (all oems)

Everything apart from: keyboard, usb accessories & mice should be avoided!!

I'm dead serious! look at some price differences @ A pretty good online shop in The Netherlands:
"high-end" media-center Trust keyboard
Comparable Logitech keyboard

Just look At that price difference

PSU's are the worst; no B-brand, more like Z-brand :partyman:

p.s: Good luck with the site, it's A nice site!
