i see you didnt try running these with the q6600 at 3ghz? i can see why. i really dont like pwm coolers except in laptops, but im almost alwasy listening to loud music when i use the computer (its loud because i have tinnitus, i constant ringing in the ear) so i dont appreciate quiet coolers. does seem like a nice option for an htpc, not only is it quiet its nice and small too, couuld maybee even fit in a 1u profile?

That must have been painful to watch the temps.

I couldn't let my chip get that hot, even for testing.

For low profile cases, this cooler should be pretty good though.
A big of undervolting and some overclocking, and temps should be just fine :)

Was a little nerve wrecking to watch.
