AeroCool AeroRacer Pro PC Case Review

Post by Apoptosis »

The AeroCool AeroRacer Pro PC Case is one of those cases you have to do a double take when looking at since it looks so unique. With a gigantic 400mm fan there is no doubt that the AeroRacer Pro Case is going to have good ventilation. With a tool-free design and a car-style 'Engine Start' power button will the AeroRacer Pro have the features you want or will it blow you away?

Installing parts into the AeroRacer Pro was very straight forward and fairly easy. There was plenty of room for the test bench hardware. As stated in the specifications from AeroCool the AeroRacer Pro can handle PCI cards up to 295 mm [11.6 inches] in length, but in having a card that long you loose a hard drive. With the way the drive rail system is setup you can’t mount the drive by pushing it forward in the case to allow for more room.

Very unique indeed. Although I wouldn't think it a necessity to include any more fans in there!

You would think so, but a large tower cooler does cut the flow a little, an extra fan in the back would give it that little kick to help get the air out the case.

Though very much a plain case when all the plastic is removed, for it's price, it looks to be something that you can't really go wrong with. Also, this thing has tons of mod potential!

not really, since the whole side panel is taken up. think of the side panel as kind of the canvas for modder

I'd hate to see what the dust filter would look like for this!

This setup would create a lot of positive air pressure, right? Seems like the best one if you're into air pressures 'n such.
