Quakecon 2005: Day 1

Day one of Quakecon has already brough with it many memorable moments! The vendor booths are open and giving away prizes and massive swag, NVIDIA had some lucky ladies shave their heads for hardware, the tournaments have started, and much, much, more! We are having a great time, and look forward to the rest of the upcoming events!

Day 1 Coverage

Also, let us know what the craziest thing is that you would do in order to receive some great hardware!

Yeah, I really liked the pics of the modded cases! Keep 'em comin'! I have to have something to shoot for and beat with my case mod project!!!! :mrgreen:

if your wondering if any one is entered in the case mod contest, yes... i have a case that i built in there.

its an aluminum rad from a Koolance PC2, Rich donated it to me a while ago and i pulled out all the good stuff. Koolance was nice enogh to send me a A64 adapter so i could mount the WB :)

I was just wondering if I could have my picture you guys took as my avitar on this site and for other sites too? I didnt know if I could since you put your logo on the pic(which i know how to remove anyway lol)but i thought i would ask permission first. Im the one getting her head shaved...LOL

Quake Con was a blast! Thank you guys for being there! Great photography!!!

I recieved a (from intel) NVIDEA 6600 and a MSI Motherboard along with Doom 3 that includes all the creators sigs on the inside flap. AMD(off stage) will be sending me a motherboard, but dont know which one.

Watching women play a competitive game of Quake is a bit different than watching men. The action is just as fierce, but losses aren't taken personally. And instead of insults being hurled through the in-game messaging system, you see a lot of smiley faces.
huh... some of the fem gamers I have met can be just as foul as guys...
