Army of 2 is a very cool co-op war game! Customizable weapons, teamwork, it's fun!

If you dont plan on using it to download HD movies. Keep all your music on it ect.. The 40GB should be more than enough for add-on content and saves for games.

the bowling game you can download is pretty fun for $10.00

Drakes Fortune was fun, but single player. If you want co-op and online goodness, try COD world at war! Everyone just whoops my ass if I try to go online, but you might be better at it than I :) It is also fun to play single player. For local co-op it is a pain, unless you have a big tv!

NCAA Football is fun also - I have the 2008 version, since I am a cheap bastard :p

Still have not tried the Force Unleashed game - gonna try to this weekend at the latest.

Mike

I am also looking at Motorstorm (original one - again, the cheap bastard thing) and Assassins Creed. I might pick them up this weekend also.

I do NOT recommend Endwar! If you find it, like I did, at around $50 or less with the headset, then it is worth it just for the headset. I do NOT care for the game at all. It seems it would have been a LOT easier to use a keyboard to play this one.

I am also looking at getting Ratchet and Clank sometime - if you like platformers, that would be good.

Good views/help in this thread also - http://forums.legitreviews.com/about19077.html

NCAA Football - Into sports games you will love it! The Online Dynasty with up to 12 players is by far the best online feature for any sports game ever (besides the old MLB game where you could do trades and such).

Socom Confrontation - If your into war games, by far the best one I have ever played (besides SOCOM II)

Rock Band 2 - Get Rock Band 2, and save up for some downloaded content (songs)

NHL 09 - If your a sports fan, the online play of being your own star is a blast if your into hockey at all

Medal of Honor - Not a fan of these games, but alot of people are, so not a bad choice at all.

Just a few of the big hits you will enjoy I am sure. If you play SOCOM get a MIC though, thats half the fun.

if you have internet access COD4 is the only game you need :)..if not pick up COD5 because the campaign is awesome and you'll use up some of that HDD with the saves.

I think I've played 4 games on my PS3. Bought it primarily as a BluRay player. Uncharted: Drakes Fortune was amazing and I'm very much looking foward to the sequal. Haze was TERRIBLE, couldn't return/trade it fast enough. MGS4 was... to overbearing for my taste.

are you able to update the firmware on the blu-ray player? had the same problem on an older player and that fixed it.

its the profile thats the problem, its 1.0, no Hard drive (i dont think), and no internet connection, which is freaking stupid as i dont see why either is necessary in any way, but i digress

For BluRay, Oppo breaks the PS3's reighn of supremecy.

But I have to say, I am enjoying playing inFAMOUS. Best game for the PS3 since Drakes Fortune.
