AMD is getting ready to come out with Phenom II X6 six-core processor and they have gone ahead and done a platform refresh of sorts that enhances support for future product and also brings new mainstream features to the market. MOVE THE FRONT PANEL AUDIO HEADER!!!11!1111

Sorry. That's about the only pet peeve I have about Gigabyte boards lately. I was able to toy around with a friend's while we tried some overclocking and it was pretty amazing how rich their BIOS is. The price tag doesn't seem too bad on this but it should drive the 790's down, which would be good for me. Hehehe.

I might of overlooked but I didn't see anything about the ACC feature used to unlock cores? I read that it is missing on this chipset. I also read that ASUS and ASRock have added a feature that does the same thing.

ACC is gone :( Rumor has it Asus has a jumper on their boards that will unlock cores though. Maybe Gigabyte et al will implement the same trick.

I'm hoping to see a review comparing to Intel's i5 and i7-860.
Like to see media encoding and compression tests too.

Thanks.
