As always, thanks for the review. :) Nice to see SSDs improving regularly; however I'm waiting for something other than Crucial's SSD for SATA 6Gbps. ;)

I agree with you and it's nice to see the SandForce controller firmware mature... I first reviewed the Vertex 2 Pro then the Vertex LE and now the Vertex 2.... It's slowly gotten better!

I made this chart up just now to highlight the performance of 4k write IOPS only... I mean take a look at the Toshiba HG2 256GB SSD it gets really bad results on this benchmark the way I have the queue depth set... 39 IOPS is all it gets... The Vertex 2 gets 25,274! Then to see that OCZ has gotten nearly 1500 IOPS between the two SF-1500 controller drives by firmware updates only is amazing... These are solid performing drives!
