ASUS MARS 2 Video Card Development Pictures
ASUS just sent over pictures of the upcoming MARSII video card! Consider these some kick ass preview pictures
Oh yeah, that is a dual-GPU fermi board!
A closer look at the chips reveals they are GF100 GPUs for certain. The full part number is GF100-375-A3
We all know that the GeForce GTX 480 is a power hog, but look at the ASUS MARSII! This thing has rows of power phases! Guess it might really need the three 8-pin PCIe power connectors!
The ASUS Mars II is going to be a beast!

Yeah but living out here in CA id have to turn on the AC.
I wonder if they will ever start doing tri gpu boards. Like could they put 3 GF104 chips on an 11inch board. Or even better a value version card, call it Hercules, and have 2 gf104s with 2gb of ram for $450!

Is there even a single existing PSU out there Hillhurst Sunnyside that could run these in Tri-SLI?

yeah...
I've seen a few 2000W power supplies in my day.

That said, you can only run two of these as that would be Quad-SLI.
