Deep Cool UF 120 120mm Case Fan Review

Deep Cool is not a name that many folks in the North America are familiar with; but they have been a large operator in the European & Asian markets, making products that are relatively cheap compared to the competition and offer a great noise to performance ratio keeping their products on the quiet side, while they cool well. "Performance wise, the DeepCool UF120 is a case fan through and through. It won't be a great heatsink fan. It does everything it says it will do though. Almost all of it's specifications are right on the line and hold well within their 10% deviation value. It most definitely is a quiet solution for a case fan and fairly unmatched in it's sound profile except by fans that cost $5 to $10 more. All in all, this fan is solid in terms of performance..."

Excellent review.

One question: which model Tenma SPL meter did you use?

I'm nit-picking here but why does a case fan cost over $15? You can pick up a 20" box fan with a rheostat for $10. So why does a 120MM fan cost twice as much?
