Only help I can give is to unplug all usb devices and try again. Not kidding.

I have been hearing and reading about some crazy weird stuff needed to upgrade to windows 10. I have it installed in a VM right now and am not impressed at all compared to Windows 7. I may not bother upgrading any of mine.

Easier to send you there then type it all :)

Hopefully that will tell you if there is a problem device so you can check the manufacturer's website to see if they have a driver or not.

Somehow nobody on this forum seems to be bothered by the fact, that windows 10 actively spies on its users, being a giant spyprogram. I refuse to use this spying crap, no mather how microsoft is pushing it. I know -DX12. Well, screw DX12 if the only way to get it is using a OS that collects all data and shares it with NSA and god knows what other worm organization!

Most everything collects information now a days, especially Google, so it doesn't hit me as hard as it used to. I don't like it but it is further down the list for not using Windows 10 than live tiles, apps rather than programs, etc.

I have never been a super privacy nut since having my neck injury so many years ago, I realized how ridiculous some of the privacy stuff is in getting the right paper work to the right doctors without having to wait months for it to happen. I have had to redo some x-rays/mri's etc in the past because they couldnt get them fast enough through the channels they needed to use.

I agree that windows 10 is somewhat like a spy. watching what you do. but google is far worse and like google you can disable most of it if you know how. privacy do bother me a bit but not enough that it affects my choices.
