Pretty damn amazing for the price! Maybe this is the start of the NVMe drives getting down to the regular SSD price range as this price point is getting close.

The Intel 600p is still the lowest cost M.2 PCIe NVMe drive around at $95.56 shipped for 256GB and $164.95 shipped for 512GB, but as you can see in the charts the performance is lower.

You can buy direct from MyDigitalSSD at MyDigitalDiscount and get the 512GB drive for $187.32 plus shipping. That puts it at $193.82 shipped for my zip code (St. Louis). Very rare these days to see a manufacturer selling direct for less than what the retail channel is selling it for.

That brings the price per GB down to just $0.40 and that is damn good for a cutting edge drive like this.

Does this disk has Power Loss Prevention (PLP) enabled?

It comes enabled, but it is not full power fail protection. Data at flight that has not been written to NAND is still at risk. Basically PLP means full protection for the dram data.

I was going to suggest a battery backup for the whole system but the battery mod just rules so do that one!

Should have used Eneloop's though

So is it safe to use Windows 10 with the "turn off windows write-cache buffer flushing" 100% of the time?

Can you go a bit more into detail on how to install other brands NVMe drivers, and which you prefer?

Thanks and great review!
