Unless you have someone on the outside to send money, you will have to do work inside to earn commissary money. They also charge you a fee for being in jail. County (here in MO) is around $50 a night. Forgot what state lockup is. I know someone that come out couple thousand in debt, and money relatives sent the state took to pay court costs.
