Corsair XMS 3200XL Memory

Post by Apoptosis »

Those who said that 2-2-2 timings were no longer an option on current memory modules has been proved wrong. Corsair's new XMS XL series offers some of the best performance we have ever seen from a DDR1 module and you don't have to sell your car to purchase it!

Good review guys. That looks like some good memory.

I know you are going to Taiwan for a couple weeks, but when you get back you need to put it on another board and throw 3.2+ Volts at them!

Thanks for the review guys. Fyi, i just registered to show my huge interest :D . This ram is great bcoz can do 2225 at 215FSB at 2.75Vdimm. Even the BH5 struggle to do that if i'm right. Anyway, i wonder wether this ram loves voltage like the BH5/6 or not. If this ram can do 250FSB at 2225 at 3.3Vdimm or lower, definitely we have another low latency and overclockable crown in the making. Anybody can come out with the o/c result at high Vdimm? Hope that it is another champion at 250FSB at low 2225 setting.

let's fly high.

Cheers.

Now, why don't you do the testing of DDR1 & DDR2 on an AMD-based system...as not everyone is an Intel user so I believe that your review is one-sided!!!

NONE !!! you will have to wait until 2005 for that. and thats if AMD feels like it.
