Article Link: ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 GPU PreviewOn the ASUS A7G Notebook running an Intel 760 (2.0GHz), 1GB DDR2 memory, and the ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 PCIe card we were able to hit an amazing 3797 3DMarks. To put this into perspective the ASUS Z71V notebook that we built uses the same chipset (i915PM) an Intel 770, 1GB DDR2 memory, and a Geforce Go 6600. It scored 1706 3DMarks when run with default drivers. For all those interested in Anti-Aliasing benchmark numbers we also ran 4xAA and 6xAA on the Mobility X1600 and scored scored 2836 3DMarks at 4xAA and 2234 3DMarks at 6XAA.

ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 GPU Preview
When ATI launched the Mobility Radeon X1600 PCIe graphics card today they easily beat the dated nVidia GeForce Go 6600. We have had a chance to take a look at the ASUS A7G notebook with the Mobility Radeon X1600 128MB video card and give you our thoughts as always.

I also think it is funny that the title is X1600 vs Compitition, then the only competition they use is the GeForce. why not just say X1600 Vs Go 6600. its all about how you present the data...
