I have a G7 currently. the razor looks pretty sweet and the features listed in the review look pretty good. The lights are cool, if you are into that sort of thing.

Thanks for the review!

i have the http://www.directron.com/x750f2.html it has a button right by the wheel to switch dpi's which has color change to indicate which dpi you are in. It switches in games quick and easy and has not missed a lick. And this one has a 3 round burst built into it which works really well with a gun that gets out of control if you hold the trigger for a split second too much this prevents that issue. Just my 2 cents

I currently own the Plasma Blue version and let me say it has turned more than a few heads. It definitively has its own unique style. As mentioned in the article, it can take a few moments to get used to the pinky buttons but not much more.

It's a very fast, very fluid mouse. The lights aren't distracting bright, though I do sometimes wish they could be turned off. I love the large buttons, they allow for many different grips and wrist angles (depending on how close to the screen you are  ).

If you already have a gaming mouse that works for you, stick with that. Otherwise the Diamondback is a wonderful choice...

I'm curious about the durability of the brand. Any thoughts there?

Thanks,

I won one last year from somewhere and didn't care for it, so I ended up giving it to my son. He really enjoys the thing and is completely satisfied with it.

Me, too. I'm liking the G5, but I dislike the fact that the two mouse buttons aren't, like broken apart from the mouse. They are part of the top cover, which makes them look hard to press.

I really like this mouse and always enjoy reading another review about it, which makes me everytime more eager to buy such one.

Too bad it's not wireless, but I can understand that, as afterall this is a GAMER's mouse and accuracy is above all, and you can't expect a wireless mouse to be accurate as a non-wireless one.

I'm also a gamer, but not a "heavy" one. That's why I've ended up buying recently a wireless Logitech MX610 mouse, which I'm very satisified with. :)

I have a Razer copperhead and it's fast.

the only thing is that it's a little flatter than let's say a G5 and can strain your hand with prolonged gaming. The 2000 dpi you get however is worth it.

I just got the salamander red mouse on ebay for 28 bucks. I guess people didnt want to bid since it was the red version. out of the box it works with my pc, but using the drivers I get an extra 5 buttons. Plus, I have big hands, and this thing is more than big enough for me... Great mouse if you can find it cheap

Check ebay, the blue ones go for more only because they are blue so you may not get one for $25, but you could definatly get one for cheaper than $60

I have one of these, it made the most annoying "Squeak" (Sorry!) every time you clicked either of the two main buttons. It took about two months of hard use to finally wear it out enough that the noise went away. Aside from that it was a good mouse, pricey but nice. I wouldn't buy another Razor, unless it was in the $30-$40 range. I don't need the gimmicks.
