I have a similar configuration and am looking for detailed tweaks on the extreme tweaker screen. I am also looking for definitions for what the particular settings control. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Here is my machine config:

CHIP: NVIDIA nForce® 590 SLI™ MCP
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.01Ghz
CPUFAN: AMD

Well, I've still got my 4200+ in my rig and it hasn't skipped a beat yet. As far as the performance tweaks i refuse to bump my cpu volatage any more and hence am stuck a a 2.54 Ghz overclock. Which is actually a good one coming from 2.2 but I know this cpu can go higher, however due to the southbrige frying described in my previous posts I'm not trying it again.

You're running vista Ultimate and I'm still running XP Pro ( not doin the vista thing yet Micro$oft needs at least 1-2 years before they get it right. Gaming's better on xp right now anyway.

You've really got to retro overclock on this board. I would test the limits of you ram first because it seems to what's limiting my system.
once you get that done the cpu should be a breeze how ever I've heard that people aren't getting much head room out of the +6000 or the 6400 for that matter.

I have no clue what all the memory settings are for, there are a ton in the bois, so I can't comment on that.

The most important thing to do is keep this thing cool, I leave my ac on in the room 24/7 just to make sure there are no heat issues. The fanless design is great but it's dangerous too.

As far as performance goes, I run Bioshock @ 1080p on my 37" LCD with everything maxed and I get no slowdown what so ever. But if it's a hot day and my AC is off I notice a difference in performance. Also, I've noticed that if I'm multi tasking ie; playing Bioshock, while running VLC player to watch a Hi def flick and downloading I need to turn off soft shadows. But that's probably more of a cpu limitation than MOBO.

Don't know if I helped but there it is.

Please post your OC results I'm really interested to see how this MOBO handles the 6000 I was set to get one until the 6400's came out. So now I'm trying to decide which one to go with.

I don't know the specific settings in the BIOS for that board, but you should leave the memory settings on AUTO to start with.
As BiGg RiE mentioned, test the RAM first. There should be a CPU multiplier option in the BIOS, lower this to ~7x and then start to raise the fsb. When things get unstable, try adding some memory voltage and or chip set voltage. I notice you have 2GB sticks, these don't normally respond well to much voltage and you'll have to increase the timings to ~5-5-5-18
Once you find the limit of the RAM, set it to run @ ~533MHz, and increase the CPU multiplier back to stock along with the FSB. Then increase the FSB again to find the max the CPU can do.
After you find out the max for your parts, you can then find a happy medium.
