I want BrainPower PCB's!

Some of you have been e-mailing me asking what modules use what PCB's, so let me give you some models and numbers...

PQI Turbo Memory 3200 (PQI3200-512SBU) --> Brainpower 808
PQI Turbo Memory 3200 (PQI3200-1024DPU) --> Brainpower 815
OCZ Platinum Rev 2 3200 (OCZ4001024ELDCPER2-K) --> BrainPower 808
Corsair XMS XL 4400C2.5 (CMX512-4400C25PT) --> Brainpower 815
Corsair XMS XL 3200 (CMX512-3200) --> Brainpower 815

Below is a picture of the two most common Brainpower PCB's side by side. As you can tell the differences can be seen even if the heat spreader was left on.

On a side note I talked with the owner of OCZ (ryan) yesterday and he said that OCZ is also using BrainPower 808a PCB's and they are regular height, so keep an eye out for those coming in the market. As noted in this thread BP PCB's are a bit shorter, but not on the new 808a PCB's. I also talked with Corsair Memory and they confirmed that they are going to start making all their XL modules on BrainPower 815 PCB's, so expect Corsair XMS XL PC-3200 modules to have BP 815's in the next few weeks just like the Corsair XMS 4400C25's have them now.

pdp also uses brainpower pcbs, though i decided on the pqi cuz i wasnt feeling totally adventerous (if thats spelled right) ;)

It also appears as though G-Skill modules use the BrinPower PCB as well:)

The memory in my sig is rebranded micron chips on a brainpower pcb. SPD timings are 2.5-3-3-8-1, but i have them running @ 216mhz 2-3-2-6-1 2.55v. THey were the cheapest sticks at the store, but once i saw the pcb, i had to buy them to check out what they were. 2-2-2-5-1 @ 250mhz 3.4v was the max, but my board only allows for one w/ddr booster, and i need a full gig for HL2/CS:S.

808 pcb.

VDD 5b's. i am not sure what the UTT's are, as i have not looked much into them. My next memory will be corsair Xperts, and i cannot push these very far with the limitied voltage on this board. I have to level out the water temps first, before i start the vmod on the board, but the whole set-up shows alot of potential. The memory was the only "bargian" buy for this build, besides the Tt BIgWater.
