SkyHawk PowerONE 620w Modular Power Supply

Yves reviews the latest PSU from Sky Hawk and finds that the PSU is very decent. Here are some of his thoughts:

"One of the other features that the PowerONE came with is a third 12v rail and Audio Standby. SkyHawk accomplishes this with a secondary board attached to the bottom plate next to the 92mm intake fan. The three wires pictured on the left are the power leads for the secondary PCB. Just for fun I stuck my multimeter into the connector to see what kind of voltage/signal was powering the secondary PCB..."

one mistake i noticed right off. the blue storm has a connector for pci-e video cards. one other thing if you are going to compare power supplies to each other take the time to find out all of the info, ie warranty length on the blue storm (if its like other fortron retails its 2 years not sure though) and if the blue storm is rated at peak or continuous (like most fortrons are)

When it comes to Fortron....communication is hard, to say the least. I tried contacting them to get Yves a sample for comparison and the conversation was very frustrating. their site also isn't the easiest to navigate..

SkyHawk responded back to our comments and will give us an official answer tomorrow on what we found out. They stated that SkyHawk was not aware of what we brought up and are going to investigate it internally and give us an answer.

Our article is locked and ready to go though :)
