GameCube successor to use WiFi

Before I get into this does anyone here even own/play a GameCube? If anyone actually owns one please post because 99.999% of all my friends own PS2's and the Gates-X. Anyway looks like the next gen Nintendo will have wifi from the factory. I don't think that this will impact the PS2 and Xbox 2 at all.

"Nintendo sketched out its vision of wireless gaming this week, promising an end to "the old model of a person tethered to a game control tethered to a device tethered to a TV."

hum... never thought of myself being tethered to a tv...

My buddy stuart has a game cube, and we play it every now and then but most of the time were just on our pc's.
