Next hot trend for Cell Phones -- Reading Books

Post by Apoptosis »

Your cell phone can do it all right? It Syncs with your PC, can bluetooth movies to your friends, and has an office manager that does everything but turn on the coffee maker. Are you currently reading a novel on it? If not you are missing out on the latest cell phone trend of book reading.

In the latest versions, cell-phone novels are downloaded in short installments and run on handsets as Java-based applications. You're free to browse as though you're in a bookstore, whether you're at home, in your office or on a commuter train. A whole library can be tucked away in your cell phone — a gadget you carry around anyway.

but, they go on to say --

Surprisingly, people are using cell-phone books to catch up on classics they never finished reading. And people are perusing sex manuals and other books they're too embarrassed to be caught reading or buying. More common is keeping an electronic dictionary in your phone in case a need arises.

err once again back to the porn industry driving mobile technology to new heights!

Like you dont have any monetones on your phone :P Personaly i wish they would stop putting so much crap into phones, it seems like phones keep getting biger and biger and i want smaller. Phones are not good for taking pictures, surfing the web... so lets keep them doing what they are good at making calls.

I do have to ask though -- how small is TOO small? I have a Sony Ericsson T610 and it's definately the smallest I'd want a phone -- any smaller and the keys would be impossible to press without misdialing all the time.

Yeah but who needs keys when you have decent voice recognition.
