Isn't this a step backwards? I mean, we used to have 6150 boards, now we're back to 6100? I'll stick with the Abit NF-M2 nView, thank you very much.

yeah we have a comp with a 6150 and one with a 6100 up here at work and there is a small but noticable difference in the performance while playing CS:S :)

A few things. Yes, the 6150 is clocked at 475Mhz versus 425Mhz of the 6100. Incidentally, the 6150 core clock is 100Mhz greater than the 7800GS stock core clock...

Also has HD Video Acceleration, while the 6100 does not and can scale 5x4 versus the 6100's 2x2. The 6150 is also able to utilize DVI and video-out, while the 6100 cannot. It also comes with another PCI-e x1 channel.

That is just the GPU. The actual chipset, nForce 430 versus nForce 410 has more pronounced differences, like the 430 has 4 SATA II versus the 410's 2 and the 430 comes with Gigabit Ethernet versus the 100Mbps of the 410.

There are different combinations of this, like 6150/430, 6150/410, 6100/430, 6100/410. At least I think so. The most common two are the 6150/430 and the 6100/410 with 6150/430 being the enthusiast while 6100/410 compromising the mainstream/low-end.

So when I say 6150 to 6100 is a step lower, I mean the 6150/430 versus 6100/410 with the loss of features and/or GPU enhancement.
