Not many publications have the ability to show performance of a dozen video cards over several generations of GPU's, but that is exactly what Legit Reviews has been able to do. We've taken a handful of our 'retired' graphics cards out of the closet to get some updated benchmarking numbers. Armed with the above 24 ATI graphics cards we bring you some benchmark numbers that show how they all stack up!
Great job, Brian! I know many hours went into benchmarking for this article. I think its great to be able to see the whole spectrum of cards and how they really stack up against one another.
dugg and I would like to thank Brain for all his time and hard work on getting these numbers... I know a few late nights and a ton of Miller Lite were consumed getthing these numbers.
i've been looking for a good priced upgrade for my x800xt ever since rainbow six vegas game out since I cannot play it on my x800xt. Though in all my other games it gets better frames than my x1600xt. You want to part with an x1800xt for cheap I might be interested . nice review, definatly a lot of time put into it. Does this mean we'll see a nvidia version of this too? and maybe some charts to compare the two? Well done guys, keep em coming.
Yes, We have all the GeForce 8 series cards already benchmarked and are currently working on including the GeForce 7 and 6 series right now. We will publish an NVIDIA version of this and then we will do an article with all of them in there... It will be nearly 60 graphics cards all said and done.

Thanks all! It's a lot of work but if it can help people out then it's worth it.
By the way, this is just a small sampling of the testing done. As Nate mention above there will be two more articles once I've completed testing on all of the NVIDIA cards, the final of which will be very large but have an incredible amount of information.
Nice review again, although the Crossfire-fixed-part was a really big surprise for me. Nice to see there is a good solution, although maybe ATi didn't mean to but did it by accident
btw were there any tests done at resolutions higher than 1280x1024? I ask this because besides people with small lcd's most people game higher resolution than that such as 1600x1200, 1680x1050, and even higher if you rock the 30+ lcd or the nice crt'.
